Itinerary
Day 1, Arrival at Kochi | Drive to Munnar
Upon arrival at Kochi Airport or Railway Station, you’ll be greeted by our representative and begin your journey to the beautiful hill station of Munnar.
En route, we’ll make a stop at the breathtaking Athirapalli Waterfalls, famously known as the Bahubali movie shooting location — a perfect spot for photos and nature lovers.
Continuing toward Munnar, enjoy short halts at Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, surrounded by lush greenery and forested hills — perfect glimpses of Kerala’s natural beauty.
Munnar, nestled in the Western Ghats, is one of South India’s most scenic hill stations and home to Anamudi, the highest peak in South India (8,843 ft).
Upon arrival by afternoon, check-in to your hotel and relax. The evening is free for you to explore the peaceful town at your own pace.

Day 2, Munnar Local Sightseeing
Start your day with a refreshing breakfast before setting out to explore the stunning surroundings of Munnar. Known for its sprawling tea plantations, quaint towns, and winding roads, Munnar is a perfect blend of nature and tranquility.
Visit the serene Blossom Park and enjoy a leisurely stroll around Mattupetty Lake and Dam, soaking in the calm waters and beautiful landscapes.
Head over to Echo Point, where you can experience the magical natural echo phenomenon and capture stunning panoramic views.
Continue your sightseeing with visits to Kundala Lake, the wildlife-rich Eravikulam National Park, and the lush Sevenmallay Tea Estate to witness the iconic tea gardens up close.
After a day full of exploration, return to your hotel for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Day 3, Drive from Munnar to Thekkady
After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from the misty hills of Munnar to the lush greenery of Thekkady.
The journey takes you through winding roads flanked by dense forests, spice plantations, and picturesque villages, offering plenty of photo opportunities and moments to soak in Kerala’s rural charm.
Upon arrival in Thekkady, known for the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, check into your hotel and unwind.
The evening is free to explore the local markets or attend an optional cultural show showcasing Kerala’s traditional arts.

Day 4, Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, leave the hill station charm of Thekkady behind and set off on a picturesque drive to Alleppey, the gateway to Kerala’s famed backwaters.
The journey takes you through lush landscapes, charming villages, and verdant paddy fields, offering a glimpse of rural life in Kerala.
Arrive in Alleppey by early afternoon and get ready for a unique experience—a relaxing stay aboard a traditional Kerala houseboat.
Cruise through tranquil backwaters surrounded by swaying palms, quaint hamlets, and vibrant birdlife, while enjoying freshly prepared local meals on board.
Spend the night on the houseboat, drifting gently along the serene waters under a starlit sky.

Day 5, Drive from Alleppey to Kochi | Trip Ends
After a peaceful morning aboard your houseboat and a delicious breakfast, disembark and prepare for your onward journey.
Enjoy a comfortable drive from Alleppey back to Kochi, soaking in the last views of Kerala’s lush countryside and backwaters along the way.
Arrive at Kochi Airport or Railway Station in time for your departure flight or train, marking the end of your memorable Kerala backpacking adventure.

6 Meals: Daily Breakfast only, starting from Day 2 to Day 5 & 1 Lunch + 1 Dinner additional in Alleppey Houseboat.
All transfers and local sightseeing (as per the itinerary from 8 am - 6 pm) by an AC Vehicle (Please note that the AC will be switched off on hills).
